Uday Mahurkar Is Wedded to Nation-First ideology of Veer Savarkar Uday Mahurkar is a veteran journalist & author who has penned two books on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance besides a famous book on Veer Savarkar which has played a key role in bringing the true Savarkar before the nation.

He comes from an old Kshatriya Maratha family of Gwalior whose ancestor Sardar Bhikajirao had fought in the 1761 3rd Battle of Panipat and the 1786 Battle of Badami fort in Karnataka against Tipu Sultan in which his brother Viharjirao was martyred.

A nationalist thinker , he took up the SaveCultureSaveIndia Mission convinced that such a movement was the need of the hour if India is to realise the goal of becoming a great nation as envisioned by its great saints , Swami Vivekanand, Shri Aurobindo, Swami Dayanand Saraswati, & Swami Pranvanand, founder of Bharat Sevashram and his Guru.
